White Wins in Kitchens

While white can be a feared color in a household due to its tendency to get dirty, many of our clients embrace white in their designs and specifically in their cabinetry. While some think that white is boring, you can see by these photos that there are many ways to bring in warmth and color in other ways – accessories, fixtures, and lighting, for example, really complement white quite well.

Above, this kitchen in Highland Park wears white well. With light hardwood floors and subdued lighting, this kitchen is quite warm in spite of the gorgeous white marble countertops and white cabinetry.

Above, in the Greenway Parks area of Dallas, upholstered chair cushions, hardware, flooring, and accessories offset the light palette of white.

This kitchen features a blend of white and dark-stained cabinetry to provide warmth and crispness in the same room.
