We typically hear requests like: we need extra storage, we need a place to put our mixer, and we want a special drawer for our steak knives. Well, every now and then we get a request to include that other special member of the family: the pets.  No, we’re not talking about storing your dog inside a cabinet (well, maybe in a way, which you’ll see further down), but rather incorporating design elements that include that lucky furry family member. When we get opportunities like this, it adds that extra element of excitement for us as designers! From our clients’ perspective, we can understand why they choose these designs. Adding these design elements make their lives easier, as well as those of their furry friends. Take a look at some of our favorite designs:

Serving Stations: We can incorporate serving stations for our clients pets according to their requests. A serving station can easily be included in the design, while also having the flexibility to be interchangeable in the future.

Food Storage: Including an extra waste cabinet in the design allowed for our clients to use this cabinet as a storage bin for dog food. This created easy access and easy storage for their pups’ nutritional needs

Dog condos are also a popular request. Many dogs like to follow their humans around the house. Whether you’re in the kitchen or doing the laundry, it’s likely your dog is right there following your every footstep. Well, a solution for our clients is to give these dogs a very spot of their own!
