This home, originally built in 1923, had an additional built on the back to include a family room, laundry, and upstairs primary suite. A few years ago, the ceiling of the laundry room started to fall in on their family workspace as the plumbing above began to leak. After enough damage, it was time to remodel the entire addition, which included a complete revamp of the primary bath, laundry, and adjacent family room. A hall bathroom was part of a project completed several years prior, which had this family coming back for more work!

This over 100-year-old and under 100 square foot Primary Bathroom was ready to make its remodel debut. Our homeowners’ biggest goals were to triple their storage, double the number of vanities, and include ergonomical and living-in-place friendly design aspects. A full reconfiguration of the bathroom, along with ample restructuring of the under-home plumbing system to bring everything up to current code, allowed us to not only meet our clients needs, to create a safe space for years to come.

Downstairs in the laundry room we aspired to – and accomplished – putting 20 lbs of AMAZING into a 5 lbs bag, creating a perfect workspace for laundry, pool bar service, and so much more into a compact space. Floor to ceiling cabinets, fresh appliances, and eye catching materials only showcase the beauty of a major renovation hidden in these walls. And the family sitting / television room is now the perfect gathering place. Warm wood toned cabinets line the wall, with the most perfect electrical unit pull out, and customized details.
