In this primary suite, it was essential to create a bathroom space that was more than just your typical bathroom. The main layout worked perfectly, so cabinetry was updated to a deep wood tone to contrast the light airy walls. A walk in shower with glass that follows the curve of the exterior window creates a unique look. The key to this area, however, was additional open floor space with access to a television so the homeowners could do yoga in the morning to kick off their day. The open floor space created by eliminating an oversized built in tub also allowed for extra storage below the television and added a seated vanity for makeup. Other details – like backlit mirrors, and edge pulls for cabinet hardware – keep the space looking clean.
