Backsplash: Renaissance Poseidon 4×8 hand-made ceramic in White.
Appliances: From Dacor: dual-fuel range, warming drawer, and microwave drawer. From Bosch: dishwasher. From U-Line: beverage fridge. The hood is custom made with a Dacor liner.
Hardware & Fixtures: Blanco sink, Newport Brass faucet, and instahot. Top Knobs hardware.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In the area of Far North Dallas, we ventured out on a project for a family that was seeking out a company to do their kitchen remodel to fit their lifestyle of casual entertaining and family gatherings. Our clients wanted an open and transitional-style kitchen combined with stylish gold finishes. In addition to a new and open kitchen, new appliances and seating were a must.
Some of the design problems we addressed in this space were to open up the kitchen to the family room all while incorporating the different ceiling heights. With the varying ceiling heights, we needed to make the design work within the new open space, so incorporating a peninsula in the lower area was a perfect solution. Today, this new and open space is better functioning, has better flow, and is enjoyed by friends and family!
