PROJECT DESCRIPTION
When you find that perfect house you want to spend forever in, we can understand why our clients would want to make it a priority in building it exactly how they want it on the interior. Plus, when your clients have a love for cooking and entertaining (sometimes over 100 people), we understand that the space needs to be better equipped and provide better flow. As a result, the kitchen transformed to a light and bright space, complete with gold tones and a custom hood. Also, four ovens will make entertaining a breeze!
The design challenge in the space was going to take the small kitchen and make it larger and more open. We took the original kitchen, laundry room, butlers pantry and main pantry into the kitchen. We incorporated these spaces into the kitchen, which really allowed us to maximize the space and we couldn’t be happier with the results!
The construction challenge was making all these little rooms into one and transferring the structural loads to beams and other walls. Another challenge was opening up the stair way so it didn’t block the view to the den. We also had the challenge of rerouting tons of plumbing from upstairs coming down the walls we were removing.
