SOUTHLAKE - DALLAS, TX

This home was built by the existing homeowners in the mid-90s when they were raising their two young children. At that time, the layout of the original kitchen fit their families needs, but after 25 years, it was time to give the kitchen a new lease on life and create a space that works for their needs now as empty nesters.

With the homeowner being an artist herself, it was crucial to blend textures and finishes to create a space rich not only visually but tactically as well.

In the spatial redesign, it was critical to capture areas that were wasted spaces (i.e., walk-in pantry & auxiliary space to formal dining area) to enlarge the new kitchen and make it something overly functional!
