These empty-nesters were getting a new kitchen to fulfill their passion for cooking, but their love of entertaining required something more. As hosts for their large extended family Thanksgiving, Holiday, and Birthday parties – who also entertain friends throughout the year – they wanted their guests to be a part of their cooking world. Not only was this kitchen a huge aesthetic transformation from the yellow tones that existed before it, but we increased valuable working and storage space for these cooks! In addition, these grandparents have more than enough little guys to fit into island banquette that was custom built around their oversized island. This banquette was the most involved portion of this kitchen remodel as a true collaboration with the Project Manager, Trim Carpenter, and both the Kitchen and Interior Designers. Also, it served a bigger purpose than just seating. It truly is the heart of this redesigned room and allows the whole family to enjoy it.​

 

The Primary Bathroom remodel was completed at the same time. Keeping ode to the traditional details, it boasts a long vanity run with an oversized mirror and short vessel sinks for added detail. A custom tall vanity seat fits perfectly centered. The shower footprint was extended to include a bench and updated frameless glass enclosure, and had individually controlled main shower head, rain head, and handheld for any cleaning combination required. A freestanding tub and stunning floor mounted filler in bronze sit below a stunning traditional chandelier, to match the sconces at the vanity. A marbled floor tile rug spans the room.
