Here’s her reply: “There are so many green products on the market today, you can include a lot of eco-friendly features in your remodeled kitchen without skimping on style. Some of our favorites as Kitchen Design Concepts are products made from rapidly renewing forests, like bamboo cabinets or cork flooring, both of which look just dynamite. There are some exciting choices in countertops made from recycled materials too. EnviroGLAS, based in Plano, has wonderful terrazzo glass tops in a broad array of colors. One of our other big favorites is Caesarstone’s recycled quartz countertops – particularly in the gorgeous Chocolate Truffle hue.”
