Last week we attended the annual NARI CotY awards held here in Dallas, TX. Every year we attend, and every year we submit projects. This night is a special night for us for several reasons. One, it’s a wonderful night to meet other people in our industry, and two, it’s a perfect night to celebrate our accomplishments (whether we win or not)! To be fair, all of our projects are like trophies for us, and to actually receive an awards trophy is just the cherry on top! So, did we win? Well, we actually won two awards! We won the “Residential Interior Element under $30,000” which was a beautiful banquette collaboration, and the “Entire House $750,001 to $1,000,000” award. Learn more about these projects below!
Residential Interior Element under $30,000 Awards
A banquette takes careful thought and consideration, especially a rounded banquette such as this one! There are many things to factor in such as how many people you wish to sit there, the size and shape of the table, will there be storage incorporated, and the list goes on. We designed the kitchen and banquette in collaboration with another designer, Jenifer Wiley, whom we often work with. Check out one of our many sketches below:
We love the results and love how perfectly it fits into the kitchen! Want to learn more about this whole space? Check it out, here!
Entire House $750,001 to $1,000,000
This house has been a passion project for our owners. The entire project surrounded itself with creating the perfect home all while staying within historical guidelines. The projects involved in this home were the bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, outdoor kitchen and much more! Check out some beautiful shots of the space below:
We recently wrote about all the details in the kitchen, if you’re interested to learn more, check it out here!
Update (February 6, 2020) – We are thrilled to announce our Regional CotY Awards in both of the projects above. We are incredibly proud to be among such an elite group of remodeling contractors to win in 2020. Congratulations to all the winners, and especially to those from Region 5 South Central!
