What’s so great about our living spaces is that you can design and style it to just how you like it. With a living room, you have a bit more freedom to do what you want compared to some of the limitations of a kitchen or bathroom per se. Whether you incorporate cabinetry in your living space that matches your kitchen or introduce a neat feature wall, the canvas is yours to fill in. Plus, when using cabinets in your living space they can be thought of as building blocks that allows you to tailor cabinetry to the functionality of the space (think TV stand or a bar, perhaps?)! And we LOVE that! Check out some of the different ways to style and design your living spaces below!
Indoor living to outdoor living
I don’t know about you, but isn’t this such a dream? Here we designed this amazing living space (also shown above) to invite the outdoors in and vice-versa. How wonderful this can be for entertaining and those cool summer nights. Having an indoor-outdoor opportunity such as this is such a great way to bring a piece of nature into your home. Check out this door system that allows you to really open up an entire wall:
Wood paneling and bar
This entire space is delicately decorated with wood paneling surrounding the walls complete with a lovely bar. Even the corners have a perfect little area for cabinetry complete with profiled painted doors. And the BAR! The bar is just a dream for any home that loves to entertain. It’s complete with beautiful X-mullion cabinets, sink, fridge, and ice machine. We love it!
Living Space feature wall
What someone will notice first in this living space is without a doubt the feature wall. The feature wall is complete with a mosaic tile perfectly complementing the design and decor of the space. We love how the TV is off to the side and yet that feature still maintains its position as the focal. Just gorgeous!
Living space and eat-in area
While the kitchen stands right behind us here, we love how the living space and eat-in area form a wonderful social space allowing anyone and everyone to pick their spot – all while being together. Banquettes are great for having that built-in look and it allows us to be creative when it comes to the shape and fabric choices.
