One of the most frequent questions we get asked is “What is the process of a kitchen remodel?”
While all projects will be slightly different based on individual circumstances and scope of work, our process generally follows the same 10 steps:
- Initial Contact
- Home Visit – preliminary measurements, lifestyle assessment, Q&A
- Initial Design – Floor plan, concepts, elevations, cabinet preview, style preferences
- Construction Walk-Through – technical measurement, interior design “fit”, scope assessment, structural and utilities review
- Final Design – scope validation, cabinet specs, appliances, finalize plans, interior design concepts, proposal
- Project Commitment – execute contract, order cabinets
- Temporary Kitchen Set-Up – we provide a special Kitchen Care package and advise you on how to be most comfortable until your beautiful new kitchen is ready for move in
- Material Selection – countertops, backsplash, flooring, paint/texture, fixtures/hardware, lighting, amenities and options
- Demolition – protect, hammer, dumpster, prep
- Construction/Installation – electric, plumbing, flooring, cabinets, appliances, countertops, backsplash, pain, trim out, punch
