First Friday Feature: A Hollywood-Glam Master Bath

We shared with you the Hollywood-Glam kitchen (if you missed it, see it here), so now it’s time we share with you the Hollywood-Glam master bath! The original bath was heavy with wooden cabinetry complete with travertine making it a traditional style master bath. Well, if we learned something from designing their kitchen, it’s that traditional is definitely not their style. They were looking for something sexy, glitz, and glam for their space – and I’d say we delivered! Take a look below to learn more about how we designed this space!

Cabinets

The cabinetry for the space is from the Elmwood Full Access line, with a Wood Print, New Haven door style, in a Vista Grey Weave with a finish of Natural Diamond Gloss. The cabinetry hardware is a Nest Studio Facet-02 knobs in gold.

Countertops

For the countertops, we installed none other than a 3 cm Cambrian Black from Cambria.

Tile

Beginning with the shower, we have a Daltile Arctic Gray 9×18 honed in a brick pattern up the wall, Renaissance Tile 2×12 Liner Montevido Polished as a liner, Renaissance Tile Tomei Series 1×1 glass inside the liner. Then we installed Daltile Arctic Gray 9×18 honed in a brick pattern on the built-in bench, Daltile Arctic Gray basket weave polished mosaic on the floor and Renaissance Tile Tomei Series 1×1 glass in the shampoo boxes. The main flooring in the master bath we installed Daltile 18×18 Arctic Gray honed in a straight lay.

Fixtures and Fittings

As for the small fixtures, from the Rohl Palladian Collection in Satin Nickel finish, we installed a towel bar, toilet paper holder, and robe hooks. Also from the same line, we have 3-Hole widespread lavatory faucets and in the shower a pressure balance shower package (trim, shower arm, showerhead and handheld shower set).

We hope you enjoyed this First Friday Feature! In case you missed it, check out their laundry room and kitchen! Anyone else ready for a Hollywood-Glam master bath remodel?
