In spirit of the December holidays and our “Flashback Friday Feature”, we present to you a fun kitchen complete with red festive accents! This particular client wanted a kitchen remodel to better fit their lifestyle, a love of both cooking and entertaining. That’s exactly what we do: better your kitchens for your lifestyle and needs! Some of their requests included: place to hang out while cooking, double waste, food station for pet, tea station, and bookcase for their cookbooks among others. To learn more, get all the details below:
Cabinetry
The Elmwood cabinetry in this kitchen features a Montana door style with a White Matte painted finish. The original kitchen had white cabinetry as well, however, the functionality and ergonomics of the kitchen was lacking. Their new kitchen is now opened up by taking down walls and it also has an increased the amount of counterspace- more room for prep!

Countertops
With all that new counterspace, we need new countertops, right? Well, our clients selected contrasting quartz countertops that complements the white cabinetry and the red accents. The 3cm Caesarstone in Vanilla Noir was a great pick, especially for its low maintenance qualities!

Tile
With the backsplash we selected the main tile to be a neutral finish, and added contrast with a picture frame above the range top. The main backsplash tile is a 3×6 Contempo White marble from Daltile, and a Hirsch Glass mosaic accent tile from the Secret Garden Collection with the finish of Sun Goddess Rose. We love this pop of color!

Plumbing Fixtures
New plumbing fixtures also help with the functionality of the kitchen. This includes: a larger farm sink, new faucet with side spray, soap dispenser, and a pot filler all from Rohl.

Appliances
For our clients who love to cook and entertain, new appliances were a must on their list. This included: a double oven with French doors from Viking, a rangetop from Thermador, and a new hood insert to better the ventilation system.

We hope you enjoyed our First Friday Feature, happy December!
