When we first met with our clients for this kitchen, they expressed a want and need for a more open space and a modern look. The backsplash is a main focal point and the color palette is very sleek while being warm and inviting. Not only did we tackle updating the style, but also the functionality of the space. We made sure to include ample storage solutions and worked on creating zones within the kitchen for ease of use. Want to learn more about this beautiful kitchen? Continue reading below!
First, check out the kitchen before!
Cabinetry
From Ultracraft Destiny we have an Avon door in Arctic White on the perimeter and Avor door in Mineral Grey on the island and bar shelving. The warmth of the grey and the crispness of the white are a beautiful and classic pairing that will stand the test of time.
Hardware
The hardware seen on the cabinetry is from Hamilton-Bowes in a Ventoux Pull in satin brass. The warmth of the brass finish is a great compliment to the white and grey cabinetry.
Countertops
The countertops are a 3cm quartz from Aurea Stone in Divine. The subtle veining in the countertops gives a marble-like look, but with the quality of quartz!
Fixtures
On the island, from Blanco Silgranit, we have a Precis super single bowl sink in white, and a Performa single sink in the bar. The faucets are from California Faucets Poetto series in satin brass. We have the pull-down and pull-down prep faucet in the bar, matching cold water dispenser, air switch, and air gap. Lastly, the pot filler is from Newport Brass East Linear in satin brass.
Tile
From Marble Systems, we have a Mod-Glam Collection Blocks mosaic in glacier honed – snow white polished – brass accents behind range and hood. For the main field-tile, we have a 3×6 snow white in a brick-lay.
Appliances
The appliances include a Wolf dual fuel 48″ range w/ griddle, 30″ microwave drawer, 24″ coffee system w/ trim; Best Cologne series 48″ hood; GE Monogram wine chiller; Hoshizaki stainless ice maker; and Bosch benchmark series dishwasher.
