It’s warmer weather in Texas and spending time outside is a way of life, especially once summer comes around (well…except for the days it gets too hot, then the AC is more appealing). Whether you’re a pool lounger, or you like get a tan going, there’s something about grill food in the summer that brings everyone outdoors. For this “First Friday Feature”, we present you an outdoor kitchen any grill-lover would want. It’s designed in organized fashion with storage solutions (that prevents you running in and out of the house to grab plates, platters, etc), a waste center (no need to hang a big trash bag, keep it concealed inside a cabinet!), and of course, appliances fit for any chef (we’re loving this 54” grill!). To learn more about this space, continue reading below!
Outdoor Cabinets
This Crestwood Oasis outdoor cabinetry is designed to last the harshest weather. I don’t think our clients need to worry about that, but knowing their cabinetry is marine-grade gives them a peace of mind. The construction is of polymer and the finish is designed to last the lifetime of the cabinets. In addition, door hinges are of rust-proof stainless steel. The specific door style seen here is Belmont and it has a finish of teak oil.
Countertops
This outdoor kitchen is designed with soapstone countertops, a great option for the outdoors. It’s non-porous qualities protect it from moisture, bird droppings and other natural elements that could cause damage. This is also why you see soapstone surfaces in science classrooms. We love this dark blue-grey color and how it compliments the cabinetry. We’d say these countertops were a solid choice for this outdoor grilling space!
Hardware
To finish off this space, we added Amerock “Blackrock” pulls in Satin Nickel to match the metallic appliances, and complement the cabinetry.
