Powder baths typically consist of a commode and sink and are usually reserved for guests. Well, this powder bath is a bit special because it also includes a shower! Being that it is the only reserve bathroom for guests in this house, we had the task of making it luxurious and special for our clients when they have company over. As a result, we designed a space rich with deep colors, textures, and utilized glamorous materials – making this powder bath truly a luxe space! Shall we break it down for ya? Cabinets

The vanity consists of a floating cabinet which is perfect for that modern look (and for mopping the floor)! The cabinet is from the Cabico Elmwood Series, with a Venture door in a Polo Blue Diamond Gloss finish. The hardware is a Kohler Margaux knob in a Vibrant French Gold finish. The combination of deep blue and gold is a classic!

Countertops

A material we love, love, love using in wet areas is quartz! Here we have utilized a Caesarstone 3cm quartz in Pure White. Keeping the countertop finish simple allows for all the other finishes to pop, especially the sink that looks like a piece of art!

Tile

Boy, do we love the Calcutta gold marble in this powder bath! The way it pops and compliments the other finishes is something we love! Utilizing difference sizes, and patterns is a way to add interest to a space, especially a small space. Here we have 12×24 Interceramic Calcutta Gold series, honed, in diagonal lay on the floor, 4×12 brick lay in shower sides, arrow mosaic on back shower wall, 1″ mosaic on floor and in shampoo box.

Wallpaper

The wallpaper adds oomph’s luxury and texture to the space. The texture is meant to mimic the skin of a stingray with small little nodules. Here we have a Koroseal Tiburon Shagreen wallpaper in a Fathom finish.

Fixtures

With all the finishes having a warm metallic gold finish, they really pop in this space! From Kohler, we have a Briolette vessel sink in Translucent Sandalwood, a Margaux faucet with a tall single handle in vibrant French gold and a Margaux shower set in vibrant French gold.  From Toto, we have a Vespin II elongated front with soft-close seat commode. The accessories are from the Kohler Margaux series in vibrant French gold. Lastly, the sconces are Aquitaine Sconces in bronze from Restoration Hardware.
