First Friday Feature

When a house was built in the 1950s, and the kitchen last updated in the 70s, there are sure to be some awkward walls that make for an awkward layout. Overall, the space was divided into different sections, making for a cramped and inconvenient kitchen. As you can probably tell, our biggest goal for the space was to open it up to make it user friendly and design with elements making it aesthetically pleasing, all while keeping the character of the 50s style home.

As a result, we designed a kitchen that became light, bright (the existing window was a vital element to keep), and overall, very beautiful. In addition to the kitchen, many other spaces got a new life, such as the master bath and the library. The master bath kept a classic style but we brought it into the 21st century with completely new finishes and overall aesthetics. The library, possibly the most unique space in the home, utilized a fresh green color to become a space you’d never want to leave!
