We all know the laundry room is the room where the dirty shirts and socks are thrown about, but that doesn’t mean it has to be a room you want to avoid! We all know that doing laundry is everyone’s least favorite chore, but what if we told you that when the laundry room is designed beautifully and is user-friendly, you’re going to want to be in that room. Whether your current space is large or small there are various things you can do to make your space the most efficient. Take a look at some of our favorites!
Light and Bright
This light and bright laundry room would make it easy for anyone to do laundry. This beautifully designed room is complete with inset cabinetry, marble countertops, wood flooring, and even a doggy shower! When you have the chance to remodel the laundry room, why not include all the things you need?
Modern and Colorful
When we were working with this client we knew we would be going in the modern direction to match their kitchen, however, in this special room, they wanted something bright and colorful. Why not be a little bold in the laundry room? The color blue, after all, does represent cleanliness (how fitting!).
Compact but Efficient
Many people live with tiny laundry rooms, but there are many ways to make them efficient. Stacking a front load washer and a dryer is a huge space saver along with thought-out storage space. These just go to show no matter how big or small your laundry space, there are ways to make them more efficient!
Space for doggy
Now don’t forget about those furry friends of ours, they need their space too! These clients really wanted to incorporate space for their beloved yellow lab. Their doggy now has a safe spot under the counter along with a secret door that leads to the master closet. What a special dog!
Convenient cut out spaces
When it comes to the laundry room, you have the creative license to make efficient “cutout” spaces that are convenient to you. In the examples below we have cut out a counter space that supports a cabinet and allows for a great area to fold laundry. In the second photo we have cut out a space in the toe area that perfectly fits a laundry basket, how convenient!
