A Kitchen For: Entertaining

The only thing better than having a breathtaking kitchen in your home is sharing it with friends and family. We designed a kitchen perfect for those who have a passion for good food and good company.

This kitchen is an excellent balance of storage, chef approved appliances, and luxurious details that would make any homeowner proud to host a dinner party! The cool color palette and uncluttered design create the sleek, modern respite that this culinary enthusiast was seeking. Since this couple mostly entertains at night, a wall was knocked down to allow more space and light in the kitchen. Element Design’s floating LED Eluma shelves create a subtle, sexy glow with tempered, etched glass and low voltage lights. The vent hood by Zephyr has custom mosaic tile panels adding a stylish detail to a functional piece. There is even a hidden television in one of the upper cabinets!

By stepping into the V shape of the island, work areas are created on both sides because of the unique design. This also maximizes counter space in the kitchen. The open layout and abundance of cabinets, to hide pots, pans, and tools, emphasize the sleek and modern feel. Multiple wine refrigerators, a warming drawer, and a Gaggenau combination steam and convection oven were added to ease the stress of timing a meal for a group of people.

The raised, eat-in bar is a true work of art and a great conversation piece. This custom counter top, created by local artisans, uses blue, lime green, and bronze epoxy paint and is covered with a glass top. The artful use of color echoes the color scheme of the room and brings the entire concept together in an interesting focal point.
