Polished Nickel Finishes

There was a day not too long ago when brushed and satin finishes were all-the-rage. People were steering well clear of polished finishes. But, not any more! Check out these examples of how beautiful polished nickel finishes can be in the latest hardware.

Modern Kitchen Design and Remodel

Kitchen Design Concepts’ client, Cindy Brickman, recently told the Dallas Morning News about her recent kitchen design and remodel. Now, many months later, she says, “My kitchen still gives me the goose bumps.”

Updating Your Home Without A Remodel

I sometimes talk to people who want to update their kitchen but are not ready to commit to a re-do. If you have a few dollars to invest but don’t want an entire overhaul, consider the following:

Beautiful Backsplashes

Want to know one of the quickest ways to go from ordinary to extraordinary in your kitchen? Install a beautiful new backsplash between your countertops and your cabinets. Our clients are amazed at the transformation that an interesting selection of tiles can make when well designed. Interesting patterns can easily blend natural and man-made stones or combine colors to create patterns that are eye-catching and add a sense of style to your kitchen. Check out this incredible mix of tiles in our recent design work. (And, if you’re in the Dallas area, visit one of our Dallas-area showrooms to take a peek for yourself.)

Dallas Kitchen Showroom Remodel (part II)

I wanted to share a few more photos of the recent remodel of our kitchen showroom located in the Lakewood area of Dallas, Texas. The address is 6322 Gaston Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75214 – please stop by if you are in the area!

Kitchen Before and After

This Christopher Peacock-inspired kitchen started with a traditional layout, red brick floor and polished brass hardware. Flow between the kitchen and adjacent rooms was awkward due to small passageways and flourescent lighting lacked the warmth the homeowners wanted.

Dallas Area Kitchen Showroom Remodel

Our remodeling expertise is usually applied to our clients’ kitchens, bathrooms and other household spaces. For the past several weeks, we’ve had an additional crew busy working on the complete design and remodel of our very own kitchen showroom in the Lakewood area of Dallas. We gutted the showroom, which was originally built in the 1980s, and have begun installation of seven beautiful vignettes showing a variety of styles, cabinet manufacturers, tile selections, countertops, appliances and flooring materials. If you are in the Dallas area, we hope you will stop by…

Kitchen Remodels Integrate Lifestyle into Design (part I)

As with all of our kitchen designs and remodels, the first step of the process is to understand who our client is and how he/she will be using the new space. For one of our clients, who is a professional baker, the function of the kitchen was never more important. After understanding her needs and desires, we designed the space to make baking an easy and integral part of her kitchen.

Free Kitchen Planning Tool

Before we can start any kitchen design and remodel project, we must understand our clients’ needs and how they live in the space(s) to be remodeled. We believe that the best way to get started is with a questionnaire that ensures we don’t miss anything that might be important in helping us understand how to make your space as great as it can be.
